How Repetition Can Give You Choice
As we turn the calendar to a brand new year, now is your time to take control of life and design it in whatever way inspires you.

Every January, I give myself a few moments of tender contemplation — to acknowledge the successes and learnings from last year and dream up even better paths for this one.
My little reset button gives me clarity on how to make each 365 days ahead uniquely valuable. I have learnt over time that this kind of seasonal repetition — is priceless. A timeless life and business tool that allows me to cultivate positive habits that are uniquely my own!
Over the last two decades, I have learned that as you tailor your actions from one year to the next, this approach can be used as an instrument of transformation. Allowing you to take charge of how you want your world — and yourself — to look.
As I reflected, I realised this past year, I did something more than any previous year — I tapped into the collective wisdom of my inner circle.
I made a conscious effort to seek help where needed.
And to ensure that 2023 begins with the same strategic mindfulness, I ran some thoughts by those closest and dearest — my children — seeking insight from their sagacious hearts!
My son shared his perspective with me as a 7-year old! He feels like many decisions in his day are out of his control — what veggies to eat, when the TV should be turned off or even bedtime.
And it made me think of my lack of choice in this challenging past year and the same pressures that affect us adults too!
That's why this year, I decided to create an intentional ritual for both myself and my kids — so we could inject more freedom into our lives.

With three thought-provoking questions, you can allow yourself to create what matters most in life. Choices that bring joy and fuel purposeful intentions while paving the way towards an emotionally fulfilling week ahead.
Because when it comes down to it, no-one knows better than ourselves.
Welcome to an experience in exploration — one where you can choose how these emotions manifest.
Imagine choice
To set up your week, here are a few questions to ask yourself and get creative with:
How do I want my weeks' experiences feel?
Who or what inspires me at this time?
What action will move me closer towards that feeling state?
Open your heart to new possibilities and emotions: divide a piece of paper into three sections and unwrap your creativity to let yourself be immersed in the joy of exploration!
Highlight your answers using colour — symbolising each emotion! You could even try introducing cards expressing various feelings (like joy, sadness etc) as a tool for discovering which ones best reflect your intentions over the upcoming seven days.
Enjoy getting curious while creating something beautiful!
Take a moment before you start to create an environment that's nurturing, warm and inviting — think cosy blankets, delicious scents or drinks you love. As you sit back in comfort encourage yourself to open up your heart and explore whatever comes with honesty — what possibilities can arise?
